Here, where the Eisack Valley, the southern part of South Tyrol and the Merano region meet, leaves nothing to be desired.

Beginning with the nearby Ritten earth pyramids (3km), via the spacious larch meadow at the Tschögglberg (12km), down into the rustic Sarntal (30km), then up to the spa town of Merano (44km) or down to Lake Kaltern (33km), the most beautiful parts of South Tyrol are easy to reach.

Thanks to Italy's first tri-cable car system, Ritten is also well connected to the capital of Bolzano. After a journey of just 12 minutes in the large panoramic cars, you dive into the heart of South Tyrol: no matter whether you choose a stroll through the Bolzano arches, a visit to the archeology museum, the Museions, Bolzano wine tasting or the Bolzano trade fair, there's a lot to discover.
